Will I get it back?
This is the number one question we get, Zombait is specifically engineered with this thought in mind. It is meant to be retrievable and reusable over and over again. There is a reinforced connection point on the top of the lure so you can tie a tether line directly to the eye of your hook. This way the lure should stay attached even if your bait fish is lost or destroyed.
We do recommend using the same test line for the tether as you do for your leader. There are no guarantees of course, anything can happen when you cast a lure into the water.
How long will the battery last?
The battery will last! Our batteries are rechargeable and will last 2-3 hours on a single charge depending on the size of your bait fish. The included batteries were specifically engineered for us to be high power and efficient. They have a special protection circuit built in to make them safe for underwater use and handling out in the open. The battery charger will fully charge a drained battery in about 90 minutes and can also charge two batteries at the same time for an easy swap and go fishing !

How tough is Zombait?
